The McKenzie Method
The McKenzie Method
The McKenzie Method is a specialised form of Physiotherapy for accurate diagnosis and treatment of back and neck pain. To qualify as a McKenzie Practitioner a Physiotherapist has to follow an intensive program of post-graduate study and clinical practice. All of our Physiotherapists have either completed or are completing that post-graduate program.
The McKenzie Method has been verified by research programs and, when carried out by a skilled practitioner, has been shown to be as effective as MRI scans in diagnosing the causes of back pain.
The Pro-Therapy practice has a reputation as a place where people come to get their back/neck fixed – even when they have failed to get a result elsewhere. This is primarily because of our expertise in the use of the McKenzie Method.
